Dust. Sand. Sun, high in the sky. Loud music pouring out of the small abarrotes on street corners. A freight train that crosses one from country to another, carrying supplies of food and hope. Mexico is made up of paths that seem to take you from absolute nothingness to a gentleman with his horse who is strolling, simply enjoying his day.
An aroma of mysticism pervades the immense expanses that surround the small houses. They peep out from time to time, only to then find themselves on the slopes of mountains that seem plucked from a film set. The lush vegetation that frames everything exudes beauty. To us, it is impossible not to feel nostalgic for this never-known past. Here, the starry skies make your neck ache; the desert has the ability to envelop you, make you feel as small as a speck of dust.

Time here magically stops and invites you to slow down, to look around and pay attention to every single detail. It invites you to reflect on the meaning of life, on the actions taken, and on the thoughts that you want to stop in some way, to allow you to enjoy these magical surroundings.
The truth is that not many countries on our planet can evoke such deep emotion – especially in visitors – and make everyone who has ever been fall totally in love with their people. It’s about a feeling, a pure connection. You have to really get lost to find yourself again, and Mexico invites you to do so.
