There’s something inexplicably liberating about arriving in an unknown destination; free from the monotony of your daily routine and thrust into the thrill of new surroundings, inspiration seems to strike at every turn. And when it comes to fashion, this rings especially true. Whether you’re hankering for the vibrant streets and low-lit downtown bars of the city or dreaming of soft white sand and endless azure waters, there is never a better time to play with your style.
But packing can often put something of a damper on your self-expression. Clothes, shoes, and jewellery are often cast haphazardly into a near-exploding suitcase, crammed violently into every available space in the hope that no-one will weigh your bag. Precious sunbathing hours are then spent carefully untangling your necklaces from your bracelets, or digging around for an elusive earring back which is never to be seen again. It was this that inspired London-based Sarah to create Wintour: a stunning brand offering luxury travel jewellery cases designed to protect and organise your accessories.
Wintour is the lovechild of aesthetics and practicality. Currently sold in two models – the Moritz and the Mini Moritz – the brand’s travel jewellery cases are sleek, stylish, and gorgeously designed, with ample space for bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings and more. Crafted using padded vegan leather and designed with a slanted angle to enable your holder to slip easily into your hand luggage, Wintour’s travel jewellery cases are as luxe as they are functional. The velveteen, stone-coloured interior of the Moritz can store a vast array of jewellery for longer-haul travel, whilst the Mini Moritz is ideal for short breaks or day trips.
Born of an on-the-go lifestyle and a passion for bespoke jewellery, Sarah launched Wintour in May 2022. Although now based in her hometown, London, she’s been deeply influenced by her travels, and lived in Geneva for a number of years. “I still visit Switzerland at least twice a year,” she says. “I’m always finding new hotels and areas to explore. But the most amazing country I’ve been to is Bhutan, back in 2019 – it was so incredible.”

These experiences, alongside a prestigious degree from the London College of Fashion, have paved the way for Wintour and its mission. “Finding a manufacturer was harder than expected. I wanted to make sure that they would create exactly what I designed but also be as environmentally friendly and responsible as possible,” Sarah explains. “My manufacturers all have strong sustainability and corporate statements and use recycled materials where possible.” And it’s not just sustainability which fuels Wintour’s ethical model. With each purchase of one of their travel jewellery cases, a percentage of the profits are given directly to charity. Customers can choose from Crisis UK, the Rainforest Foundation, and Rainbow Railroad at the checkout of Wintour’s website, and Sarah hopes to strengthen the brand’s collaboration with these charities as it grows.
Although only at the beginning of their journey, Wintour are already taking the travel accessories market by storm, with an exciting new product set to launch later this year. Whether you’re looking for a bespoke case to organise your at-home collection, or want to ensure your style isn’t limited by hand luggage restrictions, make sure to invest in one of Wintour’s beautiful travel jewellery cases.
